Mountain Lion Deluxe

​Everything you love about the original Mountain Lion, now with an additional boost setting.  The right footswitch is for the overdrive circuit and the left footswitch is for the JFET boost circuit. The clarity of the boost is adjustable via an internal bias control, so you can set it up to be a completely clean boost or a gritty boost. This pedal has a completely independent boost section which means that even with the overdrive turned off, the boost can be activated and used to boost other pedals or push your amp (with over 20db of boost!). A mini toggle switch allows you to change the order of the overdrive and boost circuits within the signal path. Use the boost before the overdrive for more gain, or place it after the overdrive circuit for more volume.

​The Mountain Lion Overdrive gives a beefed up representation of your guitar's tone without losing or boosting frequencies in an unnatural sounding way. The asymmetrical clipping allows note clarity to remain intact without over compressing your signal. There is no exaggerated mid boost on your tone either. This is a light to medium gain pedal that excels as an open sounding, uncompressed overdrive with just a touch of tweed. The CUT knob allows you to tame the high end after the clipping for use with brighter rigs or for dialing in a warmer drive sound. The Mountain Lion is a musical sounding overdrive with an open, gritty breakup that will work well in a variety of applications.
